HOW DO YOU HANDLE ATMOSPHERIC MONITORING IN CONFINED SPACES?
Continuous atmospheric monitoring is set up before entry and maintained throughout. Calibrated multi-gas detectors monitor oxygen, flammable gases (LEL), hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and carbon monoxide (CO), and evacuation is triggered immediately if alarm levels are reached.
ARE RESCUE PERSONNEL INCLUDED IN YOUR CONFINED SPACE ENTRY TEAMS?
Yes. Emergency rescue arrangements are planned and in place before every entry, as the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 require. Rescue cover, with breathing apparatus and retrieval systems, is provided by trained personnel from our own team and our vetted specialist subcontractor partners, as the risk assessment determines.
WHAT SAFETY DOCUMENTATION AND PERMITS DO YOU PROVIDE BEFORE WORK BEGINS?
Before work begins, we issue RAMS, the safe system of work and confined space entry permits. Operative competency records and equipment calibration certificates are sent to your procurement and H&S teams before we mobilise from our North Wales base.
HOW DO YOU INTEGRATE WITH OUR FACILITY'S SHUTDOWN WINDOWS?
We understand that downtime is costly. Our project managers coordinate directly with your operations team for sites across the UK, fitting the work into your planned maintenance or emergency shutdown windows with out-of-hours and weekend working where needed.
